Photography has been my passion since I can remember. I have a associates in photography and after that I took a little detour and majored in adolescent psych and sociology, I also spent a year studying expeditionary studies up in the ADKS. Despite all of the I was constantly shooting and finding my way back to being behind the lens. When I had my first son I took the leap and I started photography full time because of the freedom and connection to my family this career had to offer.
I am five years into the full time business and I have learned a thing or two. The most important thing is making good connections and finding your people. Finding clients who adore your work is easy, finding clients you can make a life long connection with takes time and effort. It is simply my favorite part about this business. It’s not just about the job it’s about so much more
When I am not doing photography I am exploring new places with my two children Addilynn and Carter. We decided last year that we were going to take the leap and homeschool carter. It has been a beautiful opportunity for all of us and I thank God every day for it. I spend my alone time reading books or exploring new restaurants and wineries. This summer I have also found a new love for golf and never in my life would I think I would be saying that. I have a very laid back personality but my mom voice comes out when needed. As I grow older I have learned to appreciate the now and take everything as it comes. Whether that be in the chaos or the silence.
